Student Council
Mission/Purpose:
The West Wilkes High School Student Council's mission is to find ways to represent and support the student body at our school. Students who are involved have the opportunity to participate in school activities while developing leadership skills that will prove valuable as they move onto the next phase of their lives. Through school service and community service projects, we want to make a difference in the West Wilkes High School community.
Requirements to Join:
None! All students are welcome. Listen for announcements about meetings and come join us!
Activities:
The Student Council plans Homecoming activities, organizes the Blackhawk Buddies community outreach program, coordinates Mr. and Miss West High, sponsors many school activities and generally works to represent the student body in positive ways.
Meeting Times/Locations:
We meet when necessary to plan Student Council functions and school activities. This year, we will be meeting in the new gym for social distancing purposes. All meeting will be announced.
