We will be starting our December Drivers Ed Course Soon! There will be a upcoming Parent Meeting on November 19th at 6 pm in the Media Center. Students must be 14 ½ years of age on or before the first class session to be eligible for the class. Class size is limited to 34 students. When class size reaches capacity, additional students submitting registration forms will be added to a waiting list. If space is available, students/parents
will be notified.
The WCS Marching Band Expo will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 10 AM at West Wilkes High School. Admission is $5 with all proceeds going to assist hurricane relief efforts in Ashe County. Wilkes County Schools is hosting a holiday art contest for all WCS students! One winner will be selected from each of the three categories: elementary, middle, and high school. The winning artwork will be used as the official district Christmas card for 2024! All submissions are due on Monday, December 2nd by 5 PM. The ESL Department of Wilkes County Schools will host CultureFest on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Stone Center for the Performing Arts from 5-7 PM.
